The "Avedon" was designed by architect Mauro Lipparini for leading Italian furniture manufacturer Saporiti Italia. "The sofa is made up of linear elements of a complete removable covering, and it is provided with cushions in different shapes and sizes to soften the arm rests and the back." The backrest is in lacquered wood and chromed steel and the fabric is laser cut ultra-suede. Truly a spectacular example of late 20th century Italian design at its best!
