The lantern was … Read more This is an uncommon mid-20th century rendition of a French Louis XVI-Style Glass Cloche (or bell) Lantern. The lantern was fabricated in Italy and most probably dates to the third quarter of the 20th century. The glass cloche is encircled by a reticulated brass collar with 6 brass swag chains and further supported by three brass engraved brass arms. The lantern is suspended on three brass articulated arms reaching up to a beautifully cast brass unit. The lantern included a well-cast brass ceiling cap. The lantern is in very good condition with a deep natural patina. Two lanterns are available. Please contact us for pricing when purchasing multiples. See less
