The 114-page, stiff card/covers book surveys 85 designs collected by MOMA "on the basis of their quality and historical significance".. since 1934. ,The selected designs reflect designr eras over almost four decades. The designs are featured in 16 pages of full colors and 39 striking photos in b/w. The book includes everything from vintage chairs to silverware to transistor radios, coffee cups, vases and vacuum cleaners. Photographs are by Stan Ries., with an introduction by Arthur Drexler.
