- This marvelous vintage wine coaster is created in gorgeous silverplate with a lovely detailed grape cluster and leaves design. This … more This marvelous vintage wine coaster is created in gorgeous silverplate with a lovely detailed grape cluster and leaves design. This fabulous wine coaster was made by E.G. Webster & Son, Brooklyn, NY. They were in production from 1886-1960. The vertical sides are cut with vertical slots and the disk is made from English walnut. Hallmarks are: Three plumes tied with a ribbon, 0/15. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Diameter at widest side to side=6-3/4 inches, Diameter at bottom=5 inches, Depth from top to bottom=2-1/4 inches. This marvelous wine coaster has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, with all plating intact and free from damage, scratching or repairs. The walnut coaster has light stains, commensurate with age and use. They do not compromise the beauty or usability of this lovely coaster.
