Sparingly painted, only the cloth on which the lady is sitting is decorated with floral patterns in strong colours. On a rectangular base with wavy rounding at the front, artist's signature on the side of the pedestal. Manufactory: selb / bavaria / rosenthal germany dating: manufactured 1916 material and technique: porcelain / chinaware / painted / glossy finish design: richard aigner (1867 - 1934) was a german sculptor; 1886-92 studied at the munich academy, since 1921 member of the munich artists' cooperative, around 1911 freelancer for the rosenthal company.
