For those who are familiar with Persian Bijar , I need to bring to your attention that Bidjar rugs have the nickname of "Iron Rugs". Why? The weave technique of Bidjar rugs is different from any other rugs. The best way to describe it is, whatever wool use in other rugs, the amount of wool that use in Bidjar rugs are at least 35% more that's why Bidjar rugs are so heavy and could last a couple of century, of course if not abused. They make the wool wet, and when they get wet become so thin, this way weaver is able to use more wool. the one that I am offering here could be the best example for that being said, This Bidjar already more than a century old and still is in high medium pile from top to bottom with both ends absolutely intact. Now if you are looking for a rug for a place with heavy traffic , this would be a "THE PIECE". Primitive & tribal rugs usually don't have high KPSI.Also, majority of the Bidjar rugs come with a center medallion but as you see, this does not have a medallion , therefore, is way easier to work with Finally, here is the best news, I am offering it at absolute give away price of $3,499.00, which is 1/3 of ites replacement value in Today's market less
