Stunning large vintage Lotus vase (No. 7914) designed by George Thompson for Steuben in 1942. Beautiful clear crystal in trumpet form with a base ringed with eight applied “lotus” petals. The underside is engraved "Steuben."
One of the signature mid-century designs from this foremost American maker.
This very large vase is about 14-1/2 inches tall, with the top opening 7 inches wide and the base about 5-1/2 inches wide. I’ve seen several much smaller versions of this design but none this large! Stunning. less
