Opening its doors in 1979, The Roxy was known as "The Studio 54 of Roller Rinks." Known for hosting epic all-night parties, the Roxy attracted several high-profile performers including Madonna, The Beastie Boys, Beyoncé, Whitney Houstin, and Mariah Carey. Sadly, The Roxy closed its doors in 2007.
