Description: Huge Vintage Wall light. This Rustic, Happy Piece of History was once a prop in a 1940s production of Hansel … more Huge Vintage Wall light. This Rustic, Happy Piece of History was once a prop in a 1940s production of Hansel and Gretel. I bought it at auction 30 years ago, had it modified to be hung on the wall, and rewired. It would be great over a headboard and gives off great light.
In the early 2000’s, it was used in a photo shoot ( see photos 1 and 2) over a daybed in my living room. It has also been hung in an entryway over a bench, and over a chest of drawers as a focal point in a great room. It is obviously an attention grabber and lends a lot of visual “POW”. Ideal for any room that lacks a fireplace or any architectural elements to anchor the room.Can also be hung over a console, a sofa or an ordinary bookshelf.
