The durable, cream satin, egg-shelled glaze known as Moonstone The sought-after Moonstone and its counterpart black glaze Ravenstone were developed by Norman Wilson, (1902-85), a master potter and designer who worked at Wedgwood from 1927 and ultimately as Joint Managing Director from 1961.
