This marvelous Shreve and Company [San Francisco] large salad serving spoon is created in gorgeous sterling silver in the pattern … more This marvelous Shreve and Company [San Francisco] large salad serving spoon is created in gorgeous sterling silver in the pattern called Napoleonic. This elegant pattern was in production from 1905-1967. The barrel handle has a decorative raised wreath in the Napoleonic style with a "B" script monogram and the bowl of the spoon has a turned edge. Hallmarks are: "Shreve & Co., Sterling" as well as the Shreve hallmark of Two S's within shields flanking a bell. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from end to end=7 inches, Width at widest=1-7/8 inches. This beautiful serving spoon has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition. The tapered handle is free from scratches, dents or repairs. The back of the spoon bowl has mild scratching, commensurate with use and age, but it does not impact the beauty or usability of this marvelous server.
