Description: These late 19th century famille rose "peoples ware" or "kitchen qing" octagonal lobed bowls have their exterior surrounded by pomegranates … more These late 19th century famille rose "peoples ware" or "kitchen qing" octagonal lobed bowls have their exterior surrounded by pomegranates and groupings of diamond-shaped clusters on a white ground. "Orange-peel" texture to the glaze typical of this type of bowl in the late Qinglong period.

These were made between 1870 and 1910 in the Guangxu region of China and exported to the expatriate Chinese community throughout South East Asia.

Each measures 8.5" (21cm) in width and approximately 2.75" (7cm) in depth. They sit on pedestal bases and are accented by a blue-green glaze in the interior of the bowl.
