Together we use our extensive Art and Fashion backgrounds to reinvigorate once loved pieces. This stunning French Provincial buffet came to us from a family who loved it for over 50 years and was owned before that, so we estimate that it was made in the late 40’s by Bassett. They don’t make furniture like this anymore. It is solid wood, built to last another 80 years, and is hand made. We refreshed the look by hand cleaning, sanding, and painting a few coats of “Deep Space” Benjamin Moore Pearl Advanced Semi-gloss followed by a few coats of polyurethane. The insides of the cabinets and drawer sides are goldwashed. New modern pulls update the style for modern living. You have an opportunity to own and love a well made, beautifully refinished, vintage set and to keep these treasures from the landfill. On delivery, we will provide a little of our paint mixture for future touch-ups over the pieces next lifetime. As a bonus, the cabinet has a glass top to prevent little mishaps and preserve the beauty of the finish. less
