A border of Ru Yi lappets circles the lip below a thin red trim circle. Buddhist roses with acanthus leaves alternating with Fu Bats and floral medallions with acanthus leaves are quartered at the top of the neck amid dense, intertwining vines and tendrils. Repeating the decoration on the upper neck, the expanded waist has a band of Buddhist roses and floral medallions among intertwining vines bracketed by narrow bands of curling vines and floral medallions. The flared and skirted foot has Buddhist roses alternating with lotus flowers amid dense interlocking vines with a band of lappets above and a thin red trim circle below. All artwork is finely painted in red and orange glazes with gold highlights. A blue and white, six character, Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu, circular stand is included. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
