Vintage Silver Plate Champagne Chiller | Urn Ice Bucket + Reed & Barton Claw Tongs | Ornate Hollowware Centerpiece Vase
Stately and elegant this antique silver plate champagne/wine chiller / ice bucket + claw tongs is perfect for your entertaining needs.
It features a graceful urn style body, pedestal base, fluted mouth with a raised relief ornate scalloped border/rim, and convenient twin handles with beautifully detailed ornate scroll designs. We have opted to not polish this preserving it's gorgeous naturally patina finish and amazing vintage charm. I'm sure this would polish up and shine if you desire. It is heavy-weight, stable and sturdy, with no dents or dings. The stunning claw style ice tongs are wonderfully detailed and accompany this stunning chilling urn perfectly. They are marked, “REED&BARTON.”
Hallmarks on chiller bottom are barely visible- most likely dating sometime between 1930's-very early 1950's. Possibly Leonard 1779.
A sophisticated way to keep bubbly, wine, sparkling water, etc. chilled to perfection when hosting guests. A timeless classic for a personal bar or bar cart. When not entertaining it looks gorgeous filled with fresh flowers for an eye-catching centerpiece. A truly stunning presentation however it is displayed!
