For the collector of antique copper ware, this watering vessel was hand forged of very heavy copper. It is thought to be from Turkey according to research done on similar pieces.
The handle has a rustic scroll design and the spout resembles that of a traditional watering can. These were probably used for storing drinking water.
The finish is original - it has not been polished, just cleaned.
This piece would be a beautiful addition to a display in a garden room or kitchen. less
