Romano Mussolini was born in Forlì in 1927 and died in Rome in 2006. He was an essentially figurative painter who devoted himself mainly to genre subjects such as clowns. His compositions show a simplicity of color lines. His passion for painting began as early as 1945 in Naples when, under the guidance of painters Corrura and Terraccini, he immediately achieved excellent results.
