The desk has been customized with pretty details which makes this desk unique and one of a kind..
The body of the desk has been painted in a beautiful pale baby blue gloss paint. The framing of the desk has a texture to surface.under the paint. There are 4 large elephant heads with long hand painted liquid gold leaf accented tusks.. The top lip of the rim was accentuated with a white and gold Greek Key trim all the way around.
The top is made of some sort of black stone material, which appears to be a patchwork granite stone of some sorts..
The backside of the desk originally had a pull out drawer and unfortunately it is not present any longer.
It does not affect the desk's usage in any way and or appearance because it would have been on the backside, which would be facing a wall. It was not a tall drawer so the opening is not something anyone would notice unless closely inspecting it.
If a drawer is something you may want you can easily have one made by a carpenter.
Together the details on this desk make this a true showstopper and a one of a kind gem in any room. less
