Yet, is is still interesting as a piece of decorative art.

This is a hand made baby minder or baby walker in the shape of a hobby horse on four wheels. Each section is handcarved and polished. The minder served a purpose to keep a child in place when it was young and it became a walker when the child would learn to walk. It must have been in use but it has been cleaned and refinished. The object is more like a conversation piece or sculpture. The dimensions are 28 inches wide and 27 inches high. less
