Offered for sale is an extremely well-designed and ornately carved late 20h century Kubbestol chair from Norway or Denmark. The Kubestool is a traditional Scandinavian chair made from a log. The kubbestol was quite common in some districts of Norway from about 1750 to 1960. This chair is adorned with carved acanthus leaves and rams on the back. We offer a companion pair of Kubbestol chairs in a separate listing. This chair is signed and dated 1999 as shown.
