Beds are roughly twin size but they are a little short on the length. Beds are very attractive with nicely turned posts. The headboards were made to accommodate the change in width. Both headboards have had a board added to the back to support the extra height of the headboards. The side rails are more modern but the correct style. I have numbered rails and posts to make it easier to set them up. The rails and posts are specific to each other. You will need a bed wrench to tighten the bed bolts. There are minor scratches and wear to the finish as expected with use and age. As to the size a modern twin size mattress is 38" by 75". Inside the rails the beds measure 38 3/4" by 73 1/2". So the beds miss on the length by 1 1/2". If you look at the last photo you can see how the bed post sticks into the corner. If it didnt do this the length would be real close. Beds are 43 1/2" tall and on the outside is 44 1/4" wide and 80 1/2" long on the outside. Again inside the rails they measure 38 3/4" wide and the rails are 73 1/2" long. less
