this is a very large oil painting it is a realistic copy of rubens rape of the daughters of leucippus ( from greek mythology ) otherwise known as horses, and it signed u gerlo naar p p rubens
the painting was painted in the early 20th century, it was commissioned for a hotel in belgium as part of a set. This painting is a representation of a scene with horses knights, angels, and nude women

the painting is on canvas in its original 4” ebonised frame with a 1.5” gold mount and central plaque at the bottom, it is in good all round condition and the colours are true

the framed painting is 79” high 74” wide and approximately 6” deep
