Marie -Therese's largescale paintings are evidence that fine art and design are, in fact, enmeshed in the modern art world. Transforming multiple canvases in tandem, translucent pigments are brushed, sponged, and manipulated to convey ethereal planes and energetic movements. In primordial color fields, they offer serene and virtual escapes from the chaos of reality. Marie-Therese’s abstract works are influenced by contemporary American artists that, from the ’40s onward, pioneered freedom of expression and form. Marie-Therese has studied and lived in Paris and New York, currently residing in New York City.
This artwork has been created with acrylic paint on unprimed canvas. It has not been stretched so can be stretched smaller than the size listed below if you wish.
The Ideal dimension to stretch it at is 80" high x 68" wide to capture the image as shown in the first picture. The canvas from raw edge to raw edge is 94" x 94". less
