CONDITION NOTES: This lamp is in fantastic vintage condition!! There is a small chip of paint on the base and on one of the leaves as well as a bit of white paint on the cord (see pictures), but otherwise, from what i can see, the lamp is fantastic - especially for its vintage age and expected use! All items are pre-owned unless otherwise stated in the item description. This is the cutest, happiest vintage flower lamp, sure to bring cheer to any room or placement you may give it! Although unmarked, this lamp is thought to be of Italian make from the mid 20th century era given its particular style, material, age and detail. The bright yellow metal base fades to white as it approaches the flowers and is accented with a lovely raised flourish design around the main edge. The four adorable daisy flowers are made of cut metal and stem upward from the lamp base, encircling the main lamp shaft. Two of the daisies have yellow-tipped petals while the other two have all white petals; all 4 of them however have the same, happy orange center making them appear so lively and cheerful - its hard not to get a smile when you look at this lamp!! The beautiful details are not lost in the accents either! Beautiful green stems and leaves spring up and around the metal flowers, adding a gorgeous pop of green to break up the yellow and white, while adding dimension and proportion to the overall aesthetic.
There is a sunny, yellow, fabric shade that came with the lamp when i acquired it, however I am unsure if it is original to the lamp or not. It appears to be made of a linen-line material that has been painted yellow? Again, i am unsure if this was done in manufacturing or if this was an after-market addition. When pricing this lamp i excluded the shade from the total as i feel it would be unfair to include this in the price since i know so little about it. However, I will happily include the shade (free of charge :-) ) with the shipment of the lamp if you're interested!
