Ten delightful vintage Japanese porcelain bowls and soup spoons. Decorated in Hong Kong in a famille rose style, they are richly painted in quadrants featuring traditional designs including people in traditional dress and flowers with a gold accents in the design and on the edges of the spoons and the rim of the bowls. Peonies feature among the flowers and are said to symbolize beauty, love, affection, and good fortune. These are vintage pieces whose age and wear adds to their beauty.
The bowls' diameter is 4.5 inches at the top and 2 inches at the bottom. They are 2.5 inches tall. The spoons are 5.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches long.
