This very large hand carved Chinese rearing stallion is incredibly beautiful- the motion able to be interpreted by the artist is phenomenal- this is a horse in his prime, showing off his strength and beauty. The carving is such that he truly looks as though he is in motion!
The colors are STUNNING.
Certain to be a conversation piece!
The base it sits on is heavy due to it being one solid and lovely piece of wood. The horse itself is light and feels excellent where it’s been smoothed, so I am guessing acacia.
Dimensions are: 20H x 8.5W x 16D
