This stunning pair of monumental modernist hand carved rock crystal obelisks were realized in Brazil- renowned for its glorious abundance of precious and semi-precious stones- during the 20th century. They offer faceted tapered bodies that ascend to a point, sitting on rectilinear tiered bases with spherical detailing separating the base from the faceted obelisk. With its impressively large scale and beautiful quality of rock crystal (replete with a natural wealth of subtle grisaille tones, this pair of obelisks are as sophisticated as they are dramatic.
