Emanating nomadic charm with incredible detail and texutre, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Kars rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The medallion design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. Three stack square medallions decorated ambiguous motifs run along the center of the abrashed tan backdrop. It is framed with a simplistic meandering botanical border. The weaver's signature and date along with the natural abrash gradations authenticate this vintage Kars rug while imparting a sense of warmth and welcomed informality.
Rendered in variegated shades of brown, rose, tan, taupe, pink, mushroom, light pink, pashmina, and oyster gray with other accent colors.
