This rare vintage 1978 Metropolitan Opera " Aida " Paul Wunderlich original lithograph print custom framed poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. Published in 1978 from the series " Metropolitan Opera Fine Art Posters ".
The lithograph print features the face of Aida appearing with a Surrealist stylized Egyptian Headdress. The original artwork is created by the German born Surrealist painter, sculptor, and graphic designer Paul Wunderlich ( 1927 - 2010 ). Wunderlich created Surrealist paintings and erotic sculptures often referencing mythological legends, and was influenced by the Art Deco & Art Nouveau movements. the print is plate signed by the artist.
The vintage 1978 original lithograph print framed poster measures 24 1/4" W X 36 1/4" H X 1 1/4" D. It is custom framed with plexiglass in a classic modern gunmetal brushed finish metal molding frame. There is an attached hanging wire on the reverse side for easy wall installation.
It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age and use. There is light surface wear. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
