This is a vintage wooden dining set.
The 6 chairs are marked Gimbel Brothers, New York.
They have a burl … more This is a vintage wooden dining set.
The 6 chairs are marked Gimbel Brothers, New York.
They have a burl wood inlay in the backs, nail head trim & red vinyl seats.
The 2 with arms are slightly different & have the red in the back also.
The table is unmarked, but the punched design/trim matches a buffet I have listed by Berkey & Gay!
There are 3 x leaves @ 11 1/2" each.
Arm chairs are 44" high x 23 1/4", across arms, x 20" deep overall.
Measurements posted are for the side chairs, except arm height!
One leaf does not have the end wooden pieces & the backing is coming away slightly.
There is a small piece of veneer missing on one chair.
There is one side strip missing on one of the chairs back center piece.
Table surface does show a few light areas probably from heat etc. less
