Bold, large, hand crafted, oversized mantel top, outstanding craftsmanship, gold inlays! Use with or without the cast iron insert. Cast iron fender included. The insert assembly is decorative grill, cast frame, and 3 marble pieces. ( 2 verticale on each side, 1 horizonal piece on top). This complete fireplace, mantel, and inset set comes apart in mutiple pieces. The set has been assembled for photos. The marble surround is installed with a lot of pieces that fasten together with metal shims and original bolts. Some of the pieces are fastened together and are more permanently attached. Other pieces are loose and would be fastened during the install. Interior dimensions with the decorative grill removed ( which simply leans in the opening) and the cast iron frame in place- 20" wide, 28" high. Interior dimensions with the insert assembly removed - 34.5" wide, 36" high. Mantel top is 1.5" thick, 15" deep, 64" long. The measurement of outside of the left column to the outside of right column is 60". This a large and heavy unit. The unit will be delivered in a crate on wheels and possibly two crates on wheels. The dominant color is mostly black with some areas appearing a very dark green. Secondary colors are areas of greenish tint and grey. See less
