A handsome vintage surveyor or photographer's tripod converted into a floor lamp. This important iconic piece of history makes a beautiful floor lamp and embodies all the classical elements of the era. This tall floor lamp would look wonderful in any setting with it's rich dark oak wood, with red contrasting painted stripes, red corded wiring, and topped off with an antique croquet ball finial. We love the rustic feel of this lamp with it's old black military tape on one of the legs, and the legs are capped with blackened brass sabot feet.
Approximate dimensions as displayed; 73H including finial and harp. 60H floor to socket. 35W, 30D inches. Tripod frame folds down for easy transport. Brass harp and croquet ball finial included, lamp shade is not included. less
