From Val St. Lambert, a pair of blown glass decanters, Belgium, circa 1960s.
In the ‘State Plain’ pattern, a pair of colorless decanters in a bulbous shape with ringed necks and hand cut, faceted stoppers. Very heavy, fine quality.
Val Saint Lambert is a Belgian crystal glassware manufacturer, founded in 1826 and based in Seraing. It holds the royal warrant of King Albert II.
Signed: etched mark on the bottom of each carafe.
10.25 in. H, including the stoppers, x 4.25 in. at the widest point.
The stopper on one decanter shows minor nipping to the base, unseen when seated, and very light wear to the corners. The second decanter is without issue.
