Tris of Vases Produced by the Famus Nsaon&C glass factory made in Sommerso glass, "EKLETTIKA" line. The "Eklettika" collection is entirely handmade according to the ancient Murano techniques. The glass, in its chromatic richness, is made without the use of harmful substances.

Murano artisans make glassware, they use various minerals to give color to the glass. As the glass mass gets heated, the minerals melt and create color such as blue from cobalt or red from gold, green from iron, or pink from manganese. Often the colors get layered on top of each other in a special technique called Sommerso.
SOMMERSO :
is a technique in which the blown glass objects are given multiple layers. These layers are usually of different colors. This effect is achieved by dipping the object several times in molten glass of different colors. This produces very thick and heavy glass objects. The technique was developed in Murano in the 30s. Submerged literally means 'submerged'. The technique makes the name meaningful.
