Beautiful oil on panel dating from the 19th century.
This signed work, whose artist remains a mystery, depicts a sailboat sailing on a rough sea. The wind seems powerful and the boats in the background also seem to be carried away on the waves. In the distance, a lighthouse and houses remind us of the proximity of the port.
