"holiday in old town" is an etching artwork created on paper. The dimensions of the artwork are 15x19.5 cm. The artwork is part of an edition with the numbering specified as 11 out of 30.
the artwork portrays a surreal landscape of latvia's capital city, riga, specifically the old town. The artist has depicted a scene that combines elements of fantasy and reality. The presence of boats and ballerinas dancing adds a whimsical and dreamlike quality to the composition. The inclusion of ballerinas dancing amidst the cityscape suggests a celebration or festive atmosphere. The surreal nature of the composition invites viewers to interpret and engage with the juxtaposition of elements and their symbolic meanings.
