The solid walnut frames have been professionally refinished and ebonized and a rich, silky black stain and show no gouges, scratches or discoloration whatsoever. The seats, re-done in a fabulous white bouclé by Knoll Fabrics, are perfectly offset by the ebonized frames and feature new, medium density foam for maximum comfort. Designed by the visionary Danish craftsman Ib Kofod Larsen in the early 1950's this model chair predates his iconic (and similarly shaped) "Z" chair. However far fewer of these armless models were ever produced making them ultra-rare and coveted by collectors and designers worldwide. Constructed of solid walnut with captivating angular lines these stunning lounge chairs are the epitome of functional art. The perfect amalgamation of classic design with modern materials these chairs have been ebonized in a silky, jet-black stain and is perfectly off-set by the white cotton bouclé seats made with new medium density foam for maximum comfort.
