Pair of antique English porcelain plates.
England, circa 1890.
This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE PAIR of English porcelain cabinet plates.
ALL hand painted, depicting a windmill in a landscape.
Gold gilding edges.
Blue turquoise color.
Both are stamped ( impressed ) mark MINTON, and year cypher ( see photo )
Minton was one of the pioneers in English china.
Both are numbered in painted ( blue A6551 ) and ( red A 6547 ).
This turquoise blue color, was very fashionable during the Victorian era , it was called “ Minton blue “.
