Antique Harry Troemner Scale and cabinet from the California Gold Rush. Mid-19th Century. This is quite a statement piece! Absolutely amazing condition. This has been passed down through one family and was originally used in the California Gold Rush.
The antique wood cabinet has a weighted pulley system to raise the door and has 2 shelves under the scale.
The scale includes the following weights, in Troy ounces: 500, 200, 50, 30, 20, 10, 5, 2, 2, 2 (3 of them) and 1, 1, (2 of these).
Condition - good antique condition. There is one newer scratch on the inside back cabinet behind the scale. Otherwise, antique wear. The balance works and has all parts and weights. less
