These vintage made-in-America chests each feature a rectangular-shaped top over a has which houses four graduated and dove-tailed drawers, set within canted and flute-carved front side posts. A petite beaded trim outlines the bottom perimeter of the chests, which are raised upon four bracket style feet, which give the otherwise linear skirt a bit of shape and interest. The upper drawers each have dividers for storage organization. Each drawer is fitted with its original heavy brass hardware pulls. The chests have a new custom pale blue finish, which still allows much of the wood grain to show through from beneath. This vintage pair of Kittinger chests (regarded by the White House as one of America's most foremost furniture makers) would make an excellent pair of bedroom dressers, but versatile enough with their clean lines and soothing blue color to be useful throughout the home.
