While the gallery wall will forever hold a place in our hearts, the introduction of the Chairish Print Shop has us scheming up new, crafty ways to hang art. To gather ideas, we went straight to the chicest source we could think of—you!—and hosted an art-inspired Instagram challenge using the Chairish app’s amazing “View In MySpace” AR feature. While we expected goodness, what we got back was a gold mine of seriously swoon-worthy ideas! To share the wealth, we’re highlighting some of the most covetable creations you came up with.

1. Pair Up
Employ the power of symmetry and hang two prints side by side. Although we’re accustomed to seeing diptychs that are composed of one large print split into two, two of the same print in different colorways can be just as stunning.

2. Frame With Sconces
Give a single piece of art the royal treatment by flanking it with sconces (either wired or candelabra-style) for a look that feels both unexpected, yet classic.

3. Scale Up To Oversized
Your billboard-sized art needn’t go it solo. An oversized piece can work just as well when integrated into a gallery wall format, so long as it skews towards the arrangement’s center.

4. Lean And Layer
Rather than hanging your art over a console, place it atop your furniture and lean it right against the wall. You can even layer prints in front of each other for a cool, casual vibe.

5. Mix In Sculpture
Whether it’s a 3-D wall sculpture à la Curtis Jere , a series of plates, or a quirky wall pocket, a piece of sculpture is an inspired mate for a series of bold prints.

6. Run With A Theme
For a fun spin on a standard gallery wall, choose a theme like florals, landscapes, or portraits. If you’re a fan of an eclectic look, aim for a mix of modern renditions combined with vintage versions.

7. Stage a Maximalist Gallery
Supersize your gallery wall and take it from floor to ceiling (or, as in this case, ceiling to chair rail molding). One trick for making this work: don’t be afraid to rotate abstracts as needed to fit into your tight grid.

8. Opt for Monochromatic
Display art in a minimal color scheme for a look that radiates confidence and all-out glamour. For those who desire an even bolder look, you can also coordinate your furniture to your art.

9. Go All Out Abstract
Arm your walls in a an array of abstracts and you’ll have an arrangement that’s not only eye-catching, but the perfect backdrop for nearly any style of furniture—from modern to boho.

10. Arrange a Grid
Whether a gallery wall seems too daunting to assemble or just a little too haphazard for your tastes, a grid formation can be an enticing alternative.

11. Use a Shutter Effect
If you think about how shutters frame a window, why shouldn’t a piece of art be flanked in a similar fashion? Frame a focal center print with two smaller prints to create an alluring sense of off-kilter symmetry.

12. Pair With a Mirror
Trying to decide between hanging a mirror or a piece of art? Try integrating both into one epic arrangement, opting for simple, abstract art if your mirror already has a good amount of detail.
