1. Keep The Time
There’s something to be said about having an old school clock in the room. Bonus points if it acts as an alarm clock!
2. Get Tech-Y
Print out the WiFi password and if you have some phone chargers to spare, keep ‘em in the guest bedroom. The last thing your guest wants to do when you go to bed is ask you for the WiFi password!
3. Cozy It Up
A robe and slippers are essential to keep stocked in the room, especially during those cold winter nights.
4. Fluff It Out
You want to make sure your guest has enough comfy, squishy pillows to sit up against the bed if needed, but not so there’s no room to sleep.
5. Scrub A Dub Dub
Store a stash of mini toiletries– soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. in a little basket in case your guests forget to bring their own.
6. Trash It
It might seem obvious, but having a mini trash can is imperative for the guest room.

7. Outfit Your Nightstand
Besides making sure that there’s a handy nightstand for your guest to put their phone or books, add your own personal touches with your favorite magazines, books, and little accents that make you happy. If it makes you happy, it will make them happy!
8. Integrate Seating
Don’t forget to put a pretty settee in the guest room for chatting on the phone, putting on shoes, or just another place to sit besides the bed.
9. Stifle Sniffles
It may seem like a small thing, but including a box of tissues is a gamechanger.
10. Upgrade the “Pillow Mint”
Add a little bar of chocolate, ‘cause you never know when your sweet tooth will kick in.
