Food52’s co-founders Merrill Stubbs and Amanda Hesser know a thing or two about making a cocktail that’s both delicious and gorgeous. We recently stopped by the glorious Food52 office (where yes, they showed us the perfect #shelfie), where Merrill and Amanda shared a recipe with us that we’ll be serving up all summer, and we think you will too.
This Negroni recipe replaces the slightly bitter taste of gin with Prosecco for a bubblier and crisper sip. It’s a perfect, spritzy drink to mix up at your next dinner party!
Negroni Sbagliato
Makes 1 cocktail
1 ounce Campari
1 ounce sweet vermouth
1 ounce Prosecco, or more to taste
Ice
Orange peel
Pour the Campari and sweet vermouth into an ice-filled glass and stir. Top with Prosecco, garnish with orange peel, and serve. Enjoy!
