Fashion dynamo Christian Siriano is known for his eye-catching red-carpet creations, dressing stars for the Oscars, Golden Globes, and every major event on the calendar. His work and favorite finds can also be seen at his boutiques, The Curated NYC and The Collective West, which opened to acclaim in Westport, CT last year. And almost three years ago, we got to know Christian in another new light, when he shared an exclusive curation of his original artwork with Chairish, along with his uber-cool line of furniture.

We’re thrilled to say that Christmas has apparently come eight months early, because Christian is back with an all-new assortment of original art, exclusive to Chairish. Shop the new pieces below, along with a selection of his unique furniture pieces and vintage favorites, for a taste of his one-of-a-kind aesthetic.

Tell us a bit about the exclusive art you’re sharing with us. What’s the story behind these pieces?

A lot of my art is an abstract interpretation of gowns I want to create one day. Even the very abstract pieces are ideas of fabrics I have used, or silhouettes of a dress in some way or another.

Do you have any favorites among the artworks on the site? How do you choose your palettes?

I like to use color in my collections of fashion and that usually translates to my art. So it is hard to pick a favorite, but the pieces that are really gestures of something are the most exciting.

How do you go about selecting art for your own home? What kinds of things draw your eye?

I love pieces that make you stop and think a bit. Personally, I don’t choose art with much color—I like something more graphic and bold.

Who are some of your personal artistic inspirations? And are there any artists in particular you’re collecting or following closely right now?

I love modern 1960’s abstract painters. A few young artists that I love include Meighan Morrison, Josh Young, Gee Gee Collins, Colt Seager, Aythamy Armas, Lisa Bagley, and Jason Craighead.

For those who don’t know, tell us about your furniture collection. How did it come about, and what were the inspirations behind the pieces?

Designing furniture was something I always dreamed of doing. I think it started when I was looking for a really cool statement dining chair and I couldn’t find one, so the Lula chair was born. I sometimes think my pieces are people or a silhouette of the body in some way. I like to think of my chairs as friends that you have over for dinner—they just never leave.

Any personal favorites among your furniture collection? And is there anything you can tease about what might be in the works next?

I think each piece is like a work of art in itself—it might not be for everyone, but it will start a conversation, which I love.

What are some favorite furnishings you have in your own home? What’s your favorite type of furnishing to shop for?

I’m a big vintage collector and most of my furniture is from the 1960’s, mainly by Italian and French designers.

How do you like to incorporate vintage and antique finds into your own home? And how does sustainability factor into your love of vintage?

I could probably style a home 80% vintage with a few key pieces from my collection and be very happy with that. I love that furniture can have a new life. It’s like a good vintage dress: You never know where it’s been or what story it could tell.

What’s a dream piece you’d love to own, whether it be a vintage item or a piece of art (or both)?

Well I have so many dream pieces it’s hard to choose. I think I would love an entire Pierre Jeanneret dining set and anything Jean Royère.

What styles and trends in the design world are you loving right now? And are there any you’d like to see disappear?

I love that interiors have trends like fashion and it’s exciting to see how they develop and evolve. I do think it’s important to update your home as trends come and go, but subtle changes are the most impactful. Changing a piece of art or a rug is something I do often.
