This vessel has been hand made and burnished by hand with a stone. Beautiful color with faint black decoration around the rim.
Located in the town called Zinapécuaro, the Cano family has been creating their exquisite works of ceramic pieces since 1815. The 20 or so familymembers/artisans are well known for their beautiful burnished pottery featuring Pre-Hispanic designs.
The family has won numerous awards in Mexico.. Traditional ceramics are award winning pieces in Ceramic Masters of Morelia and Uruapan, Mexico.
