This … more Rosa 'Cottage Rose' is an old-fashioned shrub rose with glossy foliage and pink flowers with an 'old rose' fragrance. This photographic composition was arranged digitally post-production and is intended to capture the flamboyant and visual splendor of rose hybrids and cultivars.

To create my photographs, I employ a method of 'camera-less' photography in the form of the flatbed scanner attached to my computer. The lighting effect of the scanner means that very little light enhancement post-production is required in my photographs. I have some control over their composition; which I employ in the way I place the plants on the scanner bed, and by digitally cutting and re-placing certain elements of the plant post-production.

This is a giclée print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag which is a beautiful matte paper that adds a velvety depth to the black background in the photograph.

This is a signed limited edition run of 8 prints.
