The Urli is a circular cooking pot constructed of bell metal that was used for both cooking and grinding herbs. This piece is quite heavy for it's size This Urli is handcrafted in India and is reminiscent of the big Varpu jar used in Kerala temples to prepare Prasadam. The Urli is also wonderful to be used filled with water and floating flowers or candles.
