With tapered legs, clean lines, and a beautiful kerfed detail on the curved corners, it’s the perfect piece for your living room, lounge, den or bedroom. Call it whatever you like - an end table, a side table, a nightstand, or an accent table. Whatever you call it, we think you’ll love it.

We start with a single piece of Baltic birch europly, and then cut slits deep enough to allow the wood to bend for us. Forty-four cuts later and we’re able to wrap the piece around on itself to form our most iconic product. We fill the slits in the corners with a hand-made wood putty to give it gives it a beautiful striped effect that looks amazing adjacent to the Baltic birch stripes. The tapered legs are made of two interlocking pieces of wood and perfectly complement the top section.

MATERIALS
(01) Baltic Birch & Walnut
Our furniture is made using a beautiful high-end layered Baltic birch from Columbia Forest Products®. Each of the 13 layers are solid wood, and a thick facing of walnut wraps each side in rich tones. The Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be very stable as the seasons change, unlike some single-piece solid wood furniture.

While many woodworkers would conceal the edges, we have made it our signature look to highlight the striped layers. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece by Hossle Woodworks a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

(02) Finish

We finish our products with a mixture of pure tung oil, boiled linseed oil and wax. This means less harsh chemicals when we are doing the work, and a safer breathing experience for you. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.

Another benefit to the finish is that it allows for easy repair when scratches happen. Buff out the scratch with a piece of high-grit sandpaper and rub in some Howard Feed-N-Wax® and your piece is as good as new! less
