Exquisitely hand-crafted … more A rare form Heintz Art Metal Shop (1906 - 1930) pedestal bowl with flared rim and graceful handles.
Exquisitely hand-crafted by this iconic company from the American Arts & Crafts Movement. Made from hand-shaped bronze with flowering vine sterling silver inlay design around the inside rim.
Hallmarked on the underside with the diamond factory impressed mark together with "1871" and "Sterling on Bronze" and "Pat.Aug.27.12" (a reference to the 1912 patent for their silver inlay method)
Condition is very good. Retains the original finish and patina. Minor surface tarnish as expected.
Circa 1920s.
