Thick, heavy gauge steel cylinder with recessed, branded socket platform. Weighted base supports a large frosted globe diffuser. Fully marked on the bottom. Rare design from a rare space age lighting company. Mod Lites, Inc was a subsidiary of Touch Lite, Inc (Soft Lite, Inc) and focused exclusively on high polish chrome and glass mid century, space age lighting.
Lamp has been tested and works great, plug in to power on and off. Chrome is bright and highly reflective. Globe is in good condition with no cracks or chips, minor surface wear commensurate with age. Globe rests on top of the metal base.
